Our Adventure for today begins.........
well it started today when dessy and I wanted to send letters to our dear friend lanee all the way in Papua New Guinea....
okay so we walk all the way to ampang point and we went to drop off dessy's camera's first to get them developed....we go upstairs to Popular to buy envelops for me because i didnt have an envelop at the time..so we go and look and look and PLONK dessy spotted the envelops before i did! grrrr..hahaha
anyways...i picked out these really pretty, cool, colourful envelops ryt and dessy goes 'are u sure u can use coloured envelops for sending mail?' and i go 'why not? do they discrimanate against coloured envelops or something?' hahaha and she goes ' are u sure? are u very sure? dont make any regrets now!' and i go 'yes, yes im sure..i buying them anyway! hahaha'...so i go and buy them and i relised that envelops are really cheap! hahaha....i only spent 1 dollar and 50 cents on about 10 envelops! hahahaha...cool beans
okay so i buy them and i immediatley opened them and took out a lovely green envelop =)...me likey green haha
back to the story...um oh yes! okay so i put mine and mckenna's letters in the green envelop and i noticed that i needed glue or tape to stick the flippy lid thing down..im all "DAMN!" in my head! haha
so we go up to the post office and theres a million people there! im only exaggerating but there was lots of people! hahahaha...and we needed to take a number...but dessy didnt know how to do that but i did! HAH! =)...its pretty simple reli...just press the big red button on the machine and BOOM a ticket with a number pops up! hahaha (if there are a million buttons and you dont know which one to press? always press the big red button!) HAHA
so we sit down and me and dessy just sit there and talk and gossip or whatever us girls do.... and i think i was talking pretty loudly cuz dessy goes to me 'ur making a scene! look people are watching you!" im all "wat? they're not watching me! they're looking at the bilboard thing with all the numbers there!" and we're debating about that for awhile and dessy starts testing me with malay words based on numbers and surprisingly i knew wat she was saying! haha! my malay is not that bad! whoohooo! =)
okay so my number was called, and i go up to the lady and handed her my envelop and i sed "i want to send this to PNG and i need a stamp for it please" and she goes "okay hold on" she checks her big ass file while i chew away at a lollipop stick...then the lady goes "okay 1 dollar for the stamp for PNG" im like "wow thats cheap! haha" and i gave her money but i needed glue for to stick the stamp down and the flippy lid thingy...she gave me glue and theres this weird sponge thingy...and it turns out i was supposed to press the stamp down against the sponge and kapowie glue magically comes out! hahaha...but i didnt reli know at the time so i was just poking away at the fugly looking sponge haha!...anyways so i got everything stuck down and went away to put my mail in the mail box....and i noticed that i left my lollipop stick at the counter! argh! so i ran all the way back to the counter and thank god it was still there! i quickly took back the lollipop stick and chucked it into the bin while dessy laughed her ass off the whole time at me! haha
then it was dessy's turn to go all the way to the counter! HAH...she didnt know how to do the sponge thingy either! hahaha...BUT she was given 3 stamps..not 1 but 3!!..im all "wtf?? why did u get 3 stamps and i was only given 1?? OMG maybe the lady didnt hear me properly! maybe the letter will get sent to bermuda! or fiji or new zealand or sumthin instead of PNG!" i was panicking the whole time and dessy goes " HAHAHA u loser! i got 3 stamps and u didnt! hahahahaha" and i was still panicking and then dessy says " maybe its because my envelop was bigger than yours!" and i go " are u sure? are u very sure? wat if she doesnt get mckenna's and my letter? this is terrible!" and she says "i think thats the reason...yes my envelop was like way bigger than yours....so that must be it...dont worry! haha"
then we went downstairs and bought ice cream and also met our friend reza and he bought ice cream too! haha....
i would normally never usually use mail in malaysia! u know why?? cuz all the postmen here are EVIL SCUM SUCKING RODENTS!!!!!...i hate the postmen.
